Mr. Lasseter is the Founder & principle mentor of Avalon Mentors. He grew up surrounded by books and music and the love of his family. He went to high school at Trinity School in Indiana in 1988. He graduated from University of Dallas with a Masters in English literature in the 1990s. He has taught at private & parochial schools in Minnesota and in Texas and is currently mentoring young people and adults.

Mr. Lasseter enjoys great movies and drama. He loves music ranging from Medieval & Classical to Jazz & Progressive Rock. Mr. Lasseter was a radio announcer for seven years, sang in a Renaissance polyphony choir and plays guitar and Irish drum. He also enjoys video games, cooking, philosophy, hiking, and gardening.

Mr. Lasseter has worked on a number of videos which can be found at his YouTube site. He has written a great deal both at Blogger and Substack. He is finishing a reading of the Iliad and creating content for Avalon Mentors.
